A Fenty administration will promote the Arts in the District of Columbia. We will recognize the wealth and diversity of cultures and the arts community represented in the District of Columbia. These resources are vital to our continued economic success. We will stress the need to introduce our children to art and music, and work through new and existing government/business partnerships to do this. A Fenty administration will work to enhance the Arts Commission. A Fenty administration will recognize that a great people are remembered in the long run for the contributions they make to the arts and culture of a society.
